Do you have too, low end PC but want to do high end gaming?

Are you too want to play modern games on 60fps that too on ultra setting on your low end PC ?

Then this blog is specially made for you !!!!

Because in this blog we are going to talk about on the similar topic and will make you aware about the upcoming new generation technology

Now, in the technological world there is this concept which is becoming popular called “cloud gaming”.

Many big big gaming companies are working on this concept and the most popular one is , Nvidia. Nvidia has launched its own platform called “GeForce Now”.

Let’s know more about Geforce Now and this upcoming future concept.

What is Geforce Now?

Nvidia GeForce Now is a cloud gaming service you use to stream games to other devices using NVIDIA's hardware. Basically, it means that you can play games with high graphics settings without needing a high-end PC. For the past few years, NVIDIA is been working on this platform and only available to beta users.

It runs on servers in different locations in the world and depends on which membership plan you have taken. The Nvidia Geforce Now does not sell you games or give access to its library. Instead, it links with your other platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, or other online accounts to play the games you already own. But still not all games are available on GeForce Now.

So, which devices are compatible !!

Nvidia geforce is available on different platforms. The Nvidia GeForce Now service is playable through desktop apps for PC, Mac, Google Chromebooks and also on you T.V.

It can be also available on any Android device with 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 or later. Also OpenGL support or higher is compatible, but you will need a separate controller to handle.

Sadly, there is no GeForce Now app for iOS at present.

Now, most important…..

How much it will cost me?

The Nvidia Geforce now is available in two categories. The first is free of charge. So, you can sign up and play games at absolutely no cost. There are some drawbacks also of this mode but we will discuss about that below. The second one is “fortune Mode” this is a paid mode. You can know more about the pricing of the mode from here :-

It runs on servers in multiple locations around the world, you can access any closet one according to your location and it also depends on which type of membership plan you choose. Currently GeForce Now provides it’s service in 80 countries. There are also different packages available according to the region.

How must fast internet would I need to play games ?

Nvidia GeForce Now uses suitable algorithm when streaming the game, so that the image quality and graphics adjust according to your current internet speeds.

The internet requirement for playing games is minimum broadband speed of 10Mbps, but 20Mbps is recommended if you want to stream in 720p 60fps. 50Mbps at 1080p 60fps is minimum requirement for stable and smooth experience.

Games that are available on the Geforce Now

As we know before that, the big thing about the GeForce Now service is that your games are available to you. So if you have a good library of games on different platforms like Steam, Origin, GOG, Uplay, or any other online library, you can simply install them on your remote device and play them whenever and wherever you desire. There are some preloaded games also so you don't have to wait for the install before playing.

Here is the list of supported games that can be played on the Geforce Now. Some are even preloaded so you don't have to wait for them to be installed.

You can search the list of currently supported games here:-

Currently it is also one of the only cloud gaming services that support free-to-play games. The following games that support Highlights and are available to play on GeForce NOW can be found here

Are there any downsides of Geforce Now?

Actually yes, there are some drawbacks of GeForce now and it isn’t perfect. Just like Google Stadia isn't perfect. Listen guys, the technology works, and the service also works but still server has to be developed to handle much more crowd. This platform is becoming popular day by day among gaming lovers, and sometimes it hangs or crashes.

Another downside is the playing session limits. With the Founders mode, you are limited to six hours of play. If you reach that point then you will need to log out of the session. Then log back in, and start a brand new play session. This may not affect some people, especially if you don't usually play for longer than six hours at a time but there are large numbers of gamers who will be affected most.

The bigger downside is with the free mode player session. Free mode members only get one-hour long play sessions, and this might feel a lot more restricted. It'll basically make it a lot more challenging to play any sort of multiplayer online game (MMO) or ongoing game.

In multiplayer games like Valorant, where the team has to raid, that can take at least a couple of time to finish and require a group of players, using the free mode isn't exactly convenient as you will have to stop the session every hour and log out and then again log in.

You'd also have to hope that you got log in back in immediately so that your group isn't waiting on you. Case in point, if you are planning using GeForce NOW with an MMO or MMO-like game better buy the Fortune Mode that will at least allow you to continue for 6 hrs.

Also, all your files are stored in the cloud so you can pick up where you left off and can continue.

If you have read this post till here then I hope you may have like it too.

Well, “currently it is not available for Indian market” but hope so… it will become available soon.

Thank you.
